Leading manufacturers WIDEX has announced full direct Android streaming across its flagship hearing aid line, the WIDEX MOMENT™.
Previously, only iPhone users could enjoy Bluetooth 5.0 streaming. However, with the latest update, any smartphone running Android 10 or above can now connect directly to MOMENT™ hearing aids – free of charge.
Seamless Streaming – No Accessories Required
Users can now stream music and calls directly to the WIDEX MOMENT™ hearing aids without needing any additional accessories.

How to Access Streaming Service on Android?
Accessing this new functionality is refreshingly simple. All you need to do is download the latest version of the Moment App (version 1.4). The firmware will automatically update, giving you access to direct Android streaming.
Rolling updates will be sent to all users over the next month. However, if you prefer not to wait, you can manually update the app at anytime visa Google Play or the App store.

Which Android Phones are Compatible?
The following Android smartphones have been confirmed for full compatibility with WIDEX MOMENT™ hearing aids. Other ASHA (Android Support for Hearing Aids) ready devices running Android 10+ may also work, though not officially guaranteed.

How to Pair my Phone to my Hearing Aids?
You can pair your hearing aids using either the Moment App or your phone’s Bluetooth menu.
Pairing with the Moment App
- Open the Moment App and select Get started.
- Choose whether your hearing aids are rechargeable or battery-powered.
- Turn your hearing aids off and then back on to activate pairing mode.
- Tap Next—your devices will appear on screen.
- Select your MOMENT™ hearing aids and hit Pair when prompted.
- Press Next to proceed.
- Review WIDEX’s data policy. Tap Let’s go or Not right now to continue.
- You should now see Setup successful. Tap OK to return to the home screen.
Note: Using the app makes the pairing process more intuitive and provides easier firmware management.
Pairing via Bluetooth Settings
- Open the Settings app on your phone.
- Navigate to Bluetooth.
- Turn your hearing aids off and back on to enable pairing mode.
- Look for your hearing aids under Available Devices.
- Tap to pair—your aids will now move to Paired Devices.
- Optional: Rename your devices by tapping the gear icon next to the name.
- Close the Settings app and enjoy the upgraded functionality.
